Position: Junior Fashion Designer
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Contract: Internship with possibility of securing a Permanent contract
Length: 3 weeks
Hours of work: 12 hours p/w, 2 days per week
Paid/Unpaid: Unpaid
Start date: August 2010

Cecy Ctyles Ltd specializes in tailor-made ladies wear for all occasions. We have an annual design catalogue with collections that can be fully customized- from the design to the fabric. Our tailoring service allows clients to provide their own designs and fabrics for use on their garments. We provide a completely tailored service of a good quality, at an affordable price and with fast delivery. With clients throughout the UK and the business growing, we are looking to expand our team with a new team of skilled specialist Designers.

Role:
As a Junior Fashion designer, you will be working with the Senior Fashion Designer in processing customer orders. You will be trained on how conduct consultations, design and make unique garments for our clients. Creativity is the key to this role, as you will be required to produce designs that reach the client’s specifications.
You will have the benefit of working in fast growing business, with a lot of opportunities of securing a permanent paid Junior Designer position and eventually move up to Senior Designer & Management level, depending on your performance.

Must Haves:
• Experience in designing ladies fashion
• Ability to work to individual body measurements
• Good machine and hand sewing skills
• Enthusiasm and the willingness to learn
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
